About Mexico and Mexico City

Growing out of the ruins of the ancient Aztec capital of Tenochtitlán, the sprawling megalopolis of Mexico City is at the cultural, geographical and political heart of Mexico and is a magnet to people from all over the country. Mexicans refer to their capital as simply 'México' or more specifically 'el DF' (pronounced day-effay). The DF is the 'Distrito Federal' (Federal District), in which the whole of the city centre falls. Read more about the Mexico City at www.mexicocity.com.mx.

Show Venue

The World Trade Center México is a building complex located in Mexico City, Mexico, which includes a convention center, cultural center, parking facilities and its most famous and recognizable feature, the 52-story, 172m (564ft) high Torre WTC. The WTC México tower is the fifth tallest building in Mexico City. The complex is served by the Polyforum station of the Metrobús Bus rapid transit system, located a few meters away.

In addition the centre has a beautiful, lush garden set in 28 acres. It is a peaceful haven, a place to slip away to from noise of the exhibition. The winding paths will take you to a beautiful Chinese Pagoda and lake. It is a beautiful spot to enjoy some light refreshment and chat with industry colleagues.
