The Middle East Coatings Show 2011, now in its 18th year, is still the only dedicated coatings event in the Middle East and Gulf Region for raw materials suppliers and equipment manufacturers for the coatings industry.

As with most of the markets within the Middle East, overwhelming growth in the construction industry is the key driver for paint consumption. Other aspects behind market growth in this region include implementation of infrastructure, tourism development, post-war reconstruction and economic diversification as major economies reduce their dependency upon oil revenues and create jobs to reduce unemployment problems.
